The Oscar Gill House books up months in advance. Reservations are highly recommended, particularly during tourist season (May through September).
Room deposits, rates and methods of payment
We accept cash or personal check only. Rooms are held but not confirmed until payment is received. Full payment must be received within 10 days of reservation or your room will be cancelled.
All rooms will be assessed an additional 12% city bed tax upon check-in.
Blackout dates and gift certificates
BLACKOUT DATES apply May 1 through September 30 for any certificate for "Free Night" through American Historic Inns, Stash Teas, and all other promotions. OSCAR GILL GIFT CERTIFICATES honored all year subject to availability.
Cancellations and refunds
A two week (14 day) cancellation policy is gentle but firm for reservations May through September. We do make exceptions for true medical emergencies, and "acts of God" (e.g., volcanic eruption, avalanche, snow in Denali, etc.—no voluntary "bumps" for free tickets and shopping at the Mall of America).
If a reservation is cancelled at least two weeks in advance, the deposit (minus a $20/room processing fee) will be refunded to you by check within 7-10 days of notification of cancellation.
